Heart Failure is a short musical dramedy written, directed and composed by Will Wightman, but there are no jazz hands, no dance numbers and no show tunes. This is a musical for the cinema... and the nightclub.
Heart Failure follows Frank and his relationship with Lizzie. From the one-night stand where they meet to the day she tells him she loves him; from the week she ignores his texts to the moment she says they need to talk. We’ve all been there. Breakups are the worst.
Created and shot in Falmouth, Cornwall, Heart Failure will have its world premiere at BFI Future Film Festival 2022 and its online premiere on Director's Notes. This is a Cool Bean production.
